God promises that if we ask for wisdom, He will give it! Pray that my every act and word would be formed by the fear of the Lord.

God commands His people to clothe themselves in humility. There is no growth, no love, no wisdom without it. Jesus, King of All, was also Servant of All. I fall so far from His example. Pray that He would form me into His image.

God is my strength. “Abide in me,” He says. Apart from Him, I can do nothing. Yet, so frequently I feel like I can. Pray for me to surrender to Christ, so that I can see His strength and majesty.

Even far from the comforts of home, it is easy to get distracted from what matters most. Pray I would intimately know the Lord, and my love for Him would overflow into my relationships with the children here.

As I’m teaching a wide range of ages and abilities in a place with limited resources, pray for creativity in lesson planning and execution.

Pray that I would be intentional in my relationships and that my friendship with the girls grows into discipleship.

Naturally I am selfish and mean spirited. Pray that my heart and actions will overflow with love for God and others.

Pray that I will keep an eternal mindset in my priorities, and that, though my time is limited, I could have an eternal impact and act wisely.

Jesus promises a Spirit of Peace, not of fear. I so frequently fail to trust Him. Pray that He would grant a peace that passes all understanding
